Dr. Bordonaro received the B.S. degree from Boston University, Boston, MA, USA, in 1991, the M.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, MA, USA and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, USA, in 2015, all in electrical engineering. His primary areas of research for the Navy and at the University of Connecticut have been signal processing, classification, and tracking. He has been a member of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport for over twenty-five years. He currently serves as the Chief Scientist for the Science and Technology Division in the Sensors and Sonar department and as the NavalX Tech Bridge Director for the Northeast region. Steve also helps run a waterfront prototyping lab that helps projects demonstrate their technologies. When not at work, you can often find Steve boating on the Narragansett Bay.
